Fatima Saad Khawasek

 

  • Curator in the Graeco-Roman Museum responsible for the coins section and expert in Alexandrian coin

  • She was graduated of Faculty of Arts, Archaeology section, Alexandria University, 1978.

  •  She got a Diploma in Islamic studies1989. She presently, apart from these tasks, is responsible, as head of the museology department, of the cultural activities taking place in the Graeco-Roman Museum. The IT studies helped her in her job's applications.

  •  She studied computer use and logistics and the museology pedagogy for children in the German Association HANZ-ZEIDEl in 1996, participated in various conferences and seminars.

Mrs. Fatima is following carefully all trainings provided to children whether from Egyptian or foreigner trainers within the framework of the cooperation program set between Egypt and other countries. She supervised workshops established in the museum and the preparation of the Roman dresses namely the Toga and the manufacture of perfumes reproduction of the Roman Period, the handicapped children's training from Dar Al Hanan, Dar Al Tarbeya Al Fekreya, Al Seouf and Al Amereya.
The main purpose of this large activity is the development of the cultural and educational abilities of the Egyptian student.
