Contains antiquities discovered in the area of Abi Qeer (Old Canub) during the period from 1922 till 1933 at the famous and important archeological site known as Tawfiqia street. This site is remarkable in containing monuments that date back to the middle ages and till the era of Ramsis the 2nd, although some would say that the pharaonic monuments were transferred to the site during the Greco-Roman era, from ruins of temples, baths, houses and graveyards of old Canub. The classic books testify to the magnificence of the monuments of this civilization and the near perfection in its antiquities, which fascinated the Roman Emperor Hadrian (117-138 AD).
